Robin Dainty began her nursing career in 1982 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a college in South Florida. She initially worked in hospitals across Miami before embarking on a journey as a traveling nurse, taking assignments throughout the western United States.

Her expertise and dedication led her to a Charge Nurse position in Northern California. Seeking to expand her skills, she obtained certification in Emergency Nursing and transitioned to the ER.

Upon retiring on October 1, 2021, she finally opened the file of memories she kept within her heart during her career, turning them into Laughter and Lessons: Healthcare Stories from a Nurse, a tribute to the resilience, humor, and heart of the medical community.
